Design and drafting for Civil Engineering Land Development projects including:
- Subdivisions for fee simple and strata developments
- Multi family developments for apartments, and care facilities
- Commercial Developments, such as shopping malls, parking facilities, gas stations, industrial developments, and office buildings.
- Sedimentation and siltation control for before, during and after construction.
- Download and format raw survey data.
- Prepare terrain modelling and volume calculations.
- Road, storm sewer and sanitary design including calculations and design
drafting.
- Longitudinal sections and cross sections.
- Municipal roads and utility improvements.
- Isometric views of developments.
- Construction reviews and preparation of as built or record drawings.
Required Skills:
- Thorough working knowledge of AutoCAD, land development desktop (LDD)
and Civil 3D software drafting tools.
- Familiar with the use of municipal standards and bylaws.
- Eligible for registration with AST
Communication Skills:
- Written and verbal communication with consultants, architects, clients,
municipal and government employees.
- Liaison with hydro, telephone, cable and gas companies.
- Familiar with rezoning, subdivision applications, applications for approval and final documentation.
